Continental Mortgage Banking Ltd. Is a direct private and hard money lender based in Stamford, Connecticut. We provide short term alternative financing options for local commercial and residential real estate and businesses.

Continental was founded by experienced real estate and mortgage professionals who recognized the need for creative and alternative funding options for individuals and businesses in distressed or time sensitive situations.

We provide specialized structured lending options focused on the underlying real estate and cross collateralized business assets. Our underwriting is efficient and decisions are made in a timelier manner than our competitors.

We have a pool of our own private funds to lend as well as a list of third party investors and lenders to assist in any situation.

What We Do

Continental Mortgage Banking Ltd. originates and identifies “hard money” loans collateralized by residential and commercial real estate. Our experienced team of knowledgeable real estate, financial and legal professionals, with straightforward approaches and fluid execution, provides our borrowers with the timely financing they require to capitalize on an opportunity or assist in a distressed situation.

We work with a seasoned pool of investors, construction insiders and third party lenders to provide short term non-conventional financing for real estate projects. We specialize in solving real estate problems connected with litigation, bankruptcy or foreclosure and welcome the opportunity to provide creative and customized private lending alternatives to assist these unique individuals and businesses.

We will also consider all types of real estate. Through our unique underwriting and structuring we can access the capital in an owner occupied primary residence which may be the borrower’s largest source of equity. An Alternative Choice

Unlike conventional lenders and banking institutions, most loan requests can close within ten to fourteen days. More complicated and larger loan amounts can expect to close and fund within twenty-one days.
